At the heart of our hypersexualized society, where sex remains paradoxically taboo, claims such as the denunciation of violence, the need for consent or the importance of female pleasure intersect with a simple objective : to access a rewarding sex life, free, egalitarian and free from all forms of violence.
In this thesis, we wondered why Le Planning Familial, a feminist and militant association that has been demanding access to this sexual health for more than 60 years, has today fallen into invisibility?To understand how this pillar of the sexual revolution can be saved and carried by a new generation, we went back to the birth of this historic association.
We have followed the thread of its central mission of sexuality education, and we propose a hopeful vision for the future of Planned Parenthood which will be registered in 2021 as a benchmark for the new emerging sexual revolution.
